Granger man, 66, killed in 3-vehicle crash in Elkhart County

A Granger man died in a crash in Elkhart.

The collision happened around 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, at the intersection of Old U-S 33 and County Road 3.

John Levy, 66, was hit from behind by another vehicle. The force of that collision pushed his vehicle into the path of an oncoming vehicle which hit him, nearly head-on.

Levy was taken to Elkhart General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The 22-year-old man driving the car that struck Levy’s vehicle from behind suffered head injuries.
