Notre Dame commit will not be with the Irish after arrest

A Notre Dame Football commit has been told that he will not be welcomed at the university following a recent arrest.

18 year Landen Bartleson was set to join the team this summer. A three star recruit at running back from Danville, Kentucky; he was one of three people arrested for allegedly breaking into a business and stealing several firearms. Police say that Bartleson and the other suspects were also connected to a vehicle theft, and when they found the vehicle abandoned 9 stolen guns were inside.

Notre Dame and head coach Brian Kelly released a statement saying they had pulled his letter of intent, and gave his best wishes to Bartleson and his family.
