Goshen man arrested after leading police on short chase

A Goshen man was arrested after leading police on a short chase.

The pursuit happened just after 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 6th Street and Middlebury Street in Goshen.

Investigators say the suspect, Cameron Mendez, 29, was arrested after allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving while his license was suspended.

He refused a chemical test and was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
