New Amish-run business destroyed by fire

A fire in LaGrange County Tuesday morning burned down an Amish business on their first day of operation. It happened around 5:30 a.m. near 375 W and US 20.

WSBT reports that the facility turns hay into animal feed pellets, and the building and its new equipment were lost in the fire. No hydrants were located at the scene and several departments were called in to help fight the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

I sure hope that someone who doesn’t like the Amish didn’t purposely start the fire.
