Walorski: CARES Act money “started going out on Sunday”

Second District Representative Jackie Walorski says the money approved by the federal government, designed to help Americans weather the storm of the coronavirus pandemic, is now being distributed.

Under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and. Economic Security (CARES) Act, the money is designed to provide $1,200 for each adult, and $500 for each child. It also contains a number of other economic protections.
