INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — State health officials say Indiana’s death toll from the coronavirus pandemic is nearing 400 with another reported 37 deaths.
The latest deaths reported Tuesday by the Indiana State Department of Health occurred between March 15 and Monday, boosting Indiana’s death toll to 387. St. Joseph County reported 234 cases, Elkhart County reported 100 cases, LaPorte County reported 36 cases, Kosciusko County reported 19 cases and Marshall County reported 17 cases.
The state agency says 313 more Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 _ the respiratory diseased caused the virus _ raising Indiana’s confirmed cases to 8,527 in all 92 counties. State health commissioner
Dr. Kristina Box said Monday that Indiana’s actions aimed at stemming the spread of the coronavirus have pushed back the expected peak of illnesses in the state.

Unfortunately there will be a lot more in Elkhart. When I have to go to get groceries or meds, all I see is people without protection.
