Benton Harbor residents plan for BLM street mural, ask for donations

Benton Harbor residents are seeking donations for a Black Lives Matter street mural.

The mural is planned to be placed on Colfax Avenue, in front of Benton Harbor High School.

According to a recent press release, the mural is meant to “remind children of Benton Harbor and Students of Benton Harbor that they do matter.”

Residents are asking for donations of paint, paint brushes and other materials, with painting set to take place within the coming weeks.

I’ll get right on that smh all lives matter. Black on Black crime kills far more then cops do. Let’s not forger that more white people are killed by police every year. Racism is not built into our culture. Brutality existing in all cultures by police and by it’s citizens. Go to the Philippines you can see real police brutality better yet just watch Happy Jail on Netflix and see it first hand.
