A Benton Harbor man is in the hospital, and facing charges, after crashing a boat in Missouri Saturday.

Missouri State Highway Patrol investigators report Joseph Kenneth, 52, was driving the boat on the Lake of the Ozarks when he hit a large wave, turned abruptly and slammed into a dock. He was then thrown from the boat.

WSBT reports Kenneth was hospitalized for his injuries, but is facing charges of Boating While Intoxicated. He will appear in court after he’s released from the hospital.
