Elkhart police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle theft suspect.

The theft happened back on July 16 in the 300 block of S. 2nd Street.

The vehicle has since been recovered, but the suspect has not been caught.

Police were able to obtain a surveillance photo of the suspect walking away from the vehicle.
