A winning Powerball ticket purchased in May 2020 is set to expire on Thursday.

A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased in at Speedway gas station #8335 on Calumet Ave. in Hammond ahead of the May 9 drawing.

The winning ticket must be claimed no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5.

The May 9, 2020 winning numbers are 12-18-42-48-65 and the Powerball number is 19.

The winning ticket matched four of the five winning numbers and the Powerball number.

The ticket holder should put the ticket in a secure place, consider meeting with a financial advisor, and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions.
