On Wednesday, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office charged Ernest Clark Jr of South Bend with Murder in Monday’s shooting of Elijah Torres.

He also faces a Felony Firearm Sentencing Enhancement. Clark is due in court Thursday, March 4 at 1 p.m. and is currently in the St. Joseph County Jail.

All told, he could face a sentence of up to 85 years if found guilty.
