The Notre Dame Hockey team’s appearance in the NCAA Tournament has ended at the hands of an impossible opponent: COVID-19.

The Irish had positive test results in their Tier 1 testing group, and their scheduled game Saturday against the #1 seed Boston College will be ruled a no contest.

This year was the fifth consecutive appearance in the championship tournament for Notre Dame.
