Bigger Indiana tax revenues expected

Tax collections in Indiana are likely to bounce back stronger than expected, according to a new forecast.

On Thursday state legislators were given projections that say tax collection revenues are likely to jump more than 4% in each of the next two years. This could result in about $2 billion more for the new two-year state budget that’s currently being negotiated.

The previous forecast expected a jump of between 2% and 3%.
