A South Bend woman has been sentenced to 19 years in prison in connection with a crash that killed two people.

The collision happened in June 2020 at Lincoln Way West and N. Bendix Drive and took the lives of Tajuanna Norris and Tony Griffin. Two others suffered serious bodily injury.

Raeaunna White, 30, pleaded guilty to four counts. As part of the plea, the other charges against White were dismissed.

She was sentenced to 6 years for causing death when operating a vehicle with an ACE of .08 or more, 6 years for causing death when operating a vehicle with an ACE of .08 or more, 4 years for causing serious bodily injury when operating a motor vehicle with an ACE of .08 or more, and 3 years for causing serious bodily injury when operating a motor vehicle with an ACE of .08 or more.
