One person was accidentally shot in the parking lot of Cheddar’s restaurant on Main Street in Mishawaka.

The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. on Friday, May 28.

The victim accidentally shot himself in the leg while moving a gun, according to Mishawaka Police, as reported by 95.3 MNC’s news partners at ABC 57.

The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately known.
