Elkhart man convicted of multiple sex crimes involving a minor

An Elkhart Man has been convicted of sex crimes after a four-day jury trial.

In South Bend District Court, 25 year-old Khalil Jackson was convicted Friday of various federal charges involving human trafficking of a minor; sex trafficking of a minor; the production, possession and transportation of child pornography; and cyberstalking.

His sentencing is set for September 20.

The case was a joint effort involving the Elkhart Police, St. Joseph County Police, and the FBI
