The man believed to have shot and killed a woman at Waterford Glen Apartments in South Bend will appear in court on Wednesday, July 28.

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office filed formal criminal charges against Demarice Jason Williams in connection with the shooting, last Friday, that resulted in Macirra Williams’ death. He’s now charged with murder.

Williams was the victim’s boyfriend and said to be the father of her children who were present when the shooting happened.
