All Edwardsburg Schools Open Houses will now be hosted virtually instead of in-person on September 1.

The changes were made to avoid any possible transmission of COVID-19 between families and staff members.

The goal of the school district is to start the year with masks optional for students and staff.

According to the superintendent, the final decision for masks will be announced no later than August 31.

Currently Michigan’s Governor says she has no plans to make a mandate.
