Two people have been arrested after an altercation involving a hatchet and a chair.
It happened Friday afternoon in the 1200 block of Waurika Street in Elkhart.
Police were called to the area on the report of a trespassing incident.
According to police reports, 25-year-old Austin Sullivan, allegedly struck a second individual, 38-year-old John McMahan, with a hatchet. McMahan struct Sullivan with a chair.
Both men were injured.
ABC-57 News reports Sullivan was arrested for battery with a deadly weapon. McMahan was arrested for battery.
