Domestic situation suspect leads police on a chase

A 38-year-old man was arrested after allegedly leading police in Elkhart on a chase after an alleged domestic issue.

Officers were sent to the 900 block of Bontrager Avenue on a domestic call.

There the victim said the suspect entered the victim’s apartment and that victim had an protective order against the suspect.

ABC-57 News reports when officers arrived, the suspect drove off, heading west on Bontrager.

The chase ended when the suspects vehicle headed into a driveway in the 1000 block of Green Road and struck the garage door and a vehicle.

The suspect, Brian Peachy, was arrested for resisting law enforcement, invasion of privacy and an outstanding warrant.
