Deputies in St. Joseph County and other emergency responders pulled a vehicle out of a pond Thursday.

Police were called to the pond in the 51,000 block of Meadow Ridge Court in Granger on Thanksgiving Day on a report of a car half-submerged in the water.

The driver and only passenger were out of the car when police arrived, at which point it was completely underwater. The County Dive Team and Clay Fire Department helped pull the car out. There was no word of any injuries.
