Quick action by Michigan City Police results in the arrest of a bank robber

A quick arrest for Michigan City Police after a bank robbery. The heist happened around 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, at the Horizon Bank branch on Franklin Street.

Witnesses told police the suspect left with cash and, soon after, officer found a man matching the description of the suspect just a block, or so, away, near 6th and Washington Streets.

ABC 57 News reports 52-year-old Paul Farkas of Hobart was arrested on a preliminary charge of robbery.
