Biden signs veteran health legislation introduced by Sen. Braun

(provided by his Senate office)

Senator Mike Braun helped introduce a new piece of legislation for veterans that was signed into law on Tuesday.

The Hire Veteran Health Heroes Act was signed by President Biden. It’s a piece of bipartisan
legislation that was introduced by Braun and Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire. The Act directs the Department of Veterans Affairs to create a program that will help actively recruit medical personnel who are within one year completing their service to remain in federal health care in departments like Veterans Affairs.

Companion legislation was also introduced in the House.

Braun says the new law brings us one step closer to fulfilling our obligation to those who have served to get them the best health possible.

If Biden really cared about properly staffing the VA, he’d drop his idiotic vax mandate. That’s going to cost them more professionals than anything else.
