Storm to disrupt travel on Toll Road, flights in/out of South Bend Airport

You may notice fewer trucks on the Indiana Toll Road during the big winter storm.

High profile commercial vehicle have been banned from 12 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2 through 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3.

That includes all triple trailers, all doubles, high-profile steel haulers and high-profile oversize permit loads.

The storm is also already having an impact on flight plans.

South Bend International Airport has had several arrials and departures canceled for Teusday night and Wednesday.

Anybody with a flight planned between now and Thursday is advised to their airline or check the airport’s website at www.flysbn.com.
