Goshen’s city government is accepting applications from nonprofits as they seek to distribute American Rescue Plan grants.

Mayor Jeremy Stutsman says the city received more than $6.5 million in funds from the Plan, most of which is designated for infrastructure improvements, homeless services, and other health issues.

Goshen has set aside $300,000 for nonprofits in the community and a review committee has been formed to award the funds.

Mayor Stutsman says community health needs will be given priority, and applications are available on the city’s website.
