Indiana’s Attorney General announced a new opioid agreement on Friday…
AG Todd Rokita announced the final approval of a $26 billion opioid agreement with major pharmaceutical distributors – Cardinal, McKesson, and Amerisource-Bergen – as well as with Johnson & Johnson.
Rokita says communities in the state can receive up to $507 million if they opt into the state’s settlement under pending legislation in the Indiana General Assembly that gives them until July to do so.
The money is supposed to start going out to local governments in the second quarter of this year.

Yea because its governments who have suffered in the pharmaceutical opioid epidemic right? States sue big pharma over the things that happen to the people, then keep the money recouped in “agreements and lawsuits”! Pathetic!!
