DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind. — You’ve probably heard about the H5 avian flu outbreak in southern Indiana. The latest positive test came from a turkey farm in Dubois County, where the flu outbreak began last month.

The Indiana Board of Animal Health says this is infected turkey farm number 4 for the county. That means another 16,000 birds have been killed to prevent flu spread. Another quarantine zone has been established around the farm.

So far, over 170,00 infected turkeys across Dubois and Greene County have been killed.
