A 58-year-old Edwardsburg man was hurt when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The collision happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, on Beebe Road, east of Kish Road, in Howard Township, when the motorcycle left the roadway and traveled into a culvert.

The man was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries, then taken to Memorial Hospital for additional care.

Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say speed appears to be a factor and the driver was not wering a helmet.
