The Studebaker National Museum is celebrating 60 years of the Avanti.

Through October, a new exhibit at the museum celebrates the history of one of the most distinctive vehicles of the 1960s.

Andrew Beckman of the Studebaker National Museum told WNDU that the car went from the drawing board to production in just 14 months, which was unheard of at the time. The first Mustang, for example, took three years to come off the line.
