Plymouth man one of three people killed in crash in Allen County

A Plymouth man is one of three people who were killed in a crash on U.S. 30 in Allen County.

The collision happened around 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, on U.S. 30 when a
semi and three passenger vehicles collided at an intersection at the Allen-Whitley county line.

As the semi turned, a yellow passenger car drove through the intersection and was hit by the semi nearly head on.

The car was knocked into an SUV which then hit the truck.

Police say the yellow car might have been a taxi and had five people inside.

Three passengers were pronounced dead, with the other two in critical condition.

The victims who died were identified as James Hagwood, 50, of Plymouth, Sylvia Perales, 59, of Warsaw, and Jesse Perales, 29, of Warsaw.
