A startup in Michigan is looking to make a big impact on the global trucking industry.

A factory in the Detroit area will assemble a device that collects Carbon Dioxide emissions from the tailpipes of semi trucks, and selling the byproduct to other industries rather than letting the gas escape into the atmosphere. The revenue would be shared with the trucking companies.

Bridge Michigan reports that the privately held company hopes to have their devices attached to semis belonging to the largest fleets in the US this summer. The bigger goal is hundreds of thousands of trucks over the next decade.
