Warm weather in Mishawaka leads a lot of families to The Dari Fair, but right now, it’s closed.

The building is being renovated after a plumbing problem. It’s also for sale.

The Dari Fair — home of the stuffed turtle ice cream cone — had to close after 3 inches of water was on the floor. Owner Dawn Shupert told WSBT that after 18 years, she’s decided to move on after the repairs are done.

For half a million dollars, the new owner will get a newly remodeled place. Shupert adds that if they agree to keep the name, she’ll teach them everything she knows. She’s hoping to reopen next month.
