It’s official. School City of Mishawaka has a new superintendent.

Dr. Theodore Stevens begins his duties for the district on July .

He’s taking over for Wayne Barker, who’s headed to the Fort Wayne area to lead Northwest Allen County Schools.

Stevens hails from Logansport.

It’s his second time in the Mishawka district, having previously served as the principal at LaSalle Elementary and as assistant superintendent before leaving to lead South Central Community Schools in LaPorte County four years ago.

Stevens annual salary is set at $165,000.
