Man, 36, shot and killed at 7th & Ferry Streets in Niles

A man was shot and killed in Niles.

It was around 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, when police were called to the area on North 7th Street and Ferry Street where the found the victim on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.

Farries Maxwell, 36, was taken to the hospital where later died.

Eyewitnesses saw as many as three people taking off from the area after the shooting.
