Two Elkhart parents have been sentenced to 40 years each in connection with their infant son’s death.

Nicole Neely and Owen Miller’s six-month-old child died in January 2024 due to fatal fentanyl and methamphetamine overdose.

The Goshen News says their two other children also tested positive for fentanyl and received treatment.

Both parents will receive addiction treatment while incarcerated, with portions of their sentences served on probation.
