The trial for a Goshen armed robbery suspect has been delayed.

It happened in February of 2020, when two people met at Cabin Coffee in Goshen, after meeting online for a Facebook Marketplace sale.

Goshen News reports that the victim was trying to buy two phones from 31-year-old LaSean Green.

Officials say that Green allegedly demanded money from the victim and pistol-whipped the victim while a second suspect helped him take the money.

He was originally approved to face a jury trial in Elkhart County on Feb. 20 and later be sent back to the St Joseph County Jail by Feb. 27.

The trial won’t likely start until August
