A new cannabis retail store has opened in New Buffalo. This one is owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.
The Chairman of the Pokagon Development Authority says the Pokagon Band has evaluated business opportunities within the cannabis industries for many years.
According to their release, Rolling Embers is offering a mix of products, innovative concept, amenities and a great location near Lake Michigan.
Products are sourced from some of Michigan’s premier cultivators and processors, and whether visitors are a cannabis connoisseur or are new to cannabis, Rolling Embers is an educational environment for consumers to discover what they enjoy.

I thought we weren’t supposed to refer to the indigenous people as Indians anymore. When the early European settlers arrived to North America, they thought they were in India. So that’s how they became Indians. They might have been smoking cannabis the entire voyage over here.
