The U.S. Supreme Court will not hear a new challenge to the Indiana law that requires the cremation or burial of fetal remains from abortions.

The law passed in 2016 before a 2022 ruling that it violated the right to free speech and religion. A federal appeals court then reinstated the law in November.

On Monday, the country’s highest Court announced it would not be taking on the case.
