Three people, including 1-year-old child, hurt in crash at County Roads 21 & 40

Three people, including a 1-year-old child, is on the mend after a t-bone crash at the intersection of County Roads 21 and 40.

The collision happened around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, when Elkhart County Sheriff’s deputies say a 32-year-old Goshen woman approached the intersection, stopped, then entered the intersection and was stuck by a pick-up truck that was not required to stop.

The 23-year-old Goshen man driving the pickup suffered an injury to his nose. A 1-year-old boy traveling in the pick-up suffered minor abrasions.

The woman driving the SUV suffered a back and arm injury. She was also cited for failing to yield the right of way.
