LSC Communications to shut down Old Road 30 facility

(Carli Luca/News Now Warsaw)
LSC Communications, formerly known as R.R. Donnelly and Sons, and once a prominent employer in Warsaw, is set to shut down its facility on Old Road 30.
The plant is scheduled to stop operations in September, according to an announcement made by the company, as reported by News Now Warsaw.
Warsaw’s Mayor confirmed that he was informed about the decision. The closure is expected to impact more than 500 employees.
The mayor said a company exec told him that the property has already been sold to a development group. This group intends to seek tenants for the manufacturing space.
In recent years, LSC Communications has faced challenges in its print products division. Earlier this year, the company laid off more than 650 workers and closed two plants in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
