Sturgis woman killed after reportedly driving off road, striking tree

A Sturgis woman was killed after police say she drove off the road and smashed into a tree.
The collision happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, on U.S. 131, near King Road, in Fabius Township in St. Joseph County, Michigan.
The woman was the only occupant in the vehicle.
Factors into the crash are still being investigated.
