The operator of Amish Acres in Nappanee is in custody in Louisiana.

Local and Louisiana authorities confirmed Michael Loftin was arrested in Kenner on October 29. He used the name Brad Juneau while operating Amish Acres.

Loftin was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Jail on a warrant alleging he issued a worthless check. The arrest is tied to an alleged crime in Louisiana. Local investigators are still looking into complaints involving Loftin’s business dealings at Amish Acres.
