The Elkhart Police Department continues to investigate a now fatal hit and run pedestrian crash.

The collision happened around 11:15 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 1, near the intersection of East Bristol Street and Brookwood Drive.

The victim, identified as Carolyn Goddard, 54, of Elkhart, has passed away at the hospital.

Investigators are still asking for any information about the alleged suspect vehicle. That vehicle is possibly a Nissan passenger vehicle, with front end damage, missing its front Nissan emblem, and with damage to the windshield.
