The South Shore Line will be taking part in National Rail Safety Week to spread awareness to those in the communities of operation.

Representatives will be at Millennium Station throughout the morning commute in order to hand out educational materials about safety, as well as to answer any questions and listen to safety concerns.

They hope to raise awareness of the importance of safe behavior around the trains and tracks.

National Rail Safety Week is September 18 through 24, and all commuters are encouraged to follow safe practices in and around the trains.

For safety tips and guidelines, you can visit the South Shore Line’s website.
