The deadline for applications for the South Bend Police Department’s upcoming Prospect Day is coming up.

The department launched Prospect Days last year as a way to expedite its testing process without sacrificing standards or qualifications to become a South Bend Police Officer.

This year’s Prospect Day will be on Saturday, October 7 and will allow applicants to go through a majority of the testing process in just one day instead of several months like it would normally take.

The department is looking for a few more officers to join them, and those with interest can apply by visiting sbpolicejobs.com. The deadline to apply is October 2.
