Biketober Fest is coming on October 8th.

The event is the key fundraiser for the Bike Michiana Coalition, and this year some of the money raised will also benefit the Love Creek County Park bike trail project in Berrien County.

Biketober Fest will also feature food, Oktoberfest beer by Evil Czech, a silent auction for an 1800-dollar Trek bike from Trek Bicycle Granger, and plenty of miles of riding on dirt roads, a mountain bike trail, and paved back roads at Love Creek in Berrien Center.

Ultimately, the organization is hoping to raise awareness of the need for more trails, which will help to eliminate crashes between bikes and vehicles
