Elkhart woman sentenced, deadly November 2022 crash

An Elkhart woman took responsibility when she was sentenced to 12 years for her role in a death.

Koral Jordan was arrested after a crash that killed Robert Spann in November 2022.

Jordan was driving a Chevrolet, crossed the center line while going east on U.S. 20 and hit a Nissan head on.

Spann was driving the Nissan and died at the scene.

The Goshen News reports that Jordan’s vehicle had multiple liquor containers and marijuana. After a blood test, she was found with a blood alcohol content of 0.259.

Jordan was sentenced to 8 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections, as well as probation and a suspension of driving for 8 years.
