A 22-year-old man from Sturgis was injured in a crash on Birch Rd. in Porter Township, Cass County, Michigan. 

It happened around 12:46 p.m on December 22 when officers were called to investigate a personal injury crash. 

The 22-year-old Sturgis man was reportedly traveling north on Birch Road when he lost control of his vehicle while going around a curve. His vehicle went off the road to the right and rolled. 

The man was wearing his seatbelt and alcohol and drugs are not considered a factor, though speed is considered a factor in the crash.

He was transported to Three RIvers hospital for minor injuries.
