Officials in Berrien County are planning on adding more security cameras at Silver Beach, in the wake of an increase in fights there. WSBT reports that the cameras are expected to cost around $20,000 to install, and the county Parks Department has applied for a grant to help cover the costs involved.
Fights have been increasing at Silver Beach when its especially crowded during holidays.
It’s hoped the cameras will help to deter fights and identify the responsible parties.
