Improvements at Silver Beach Playground are on hold.

It’s because of issues with traffic jams and the need for increased beach security.

WSBT reports that the area is need of a new parking system. This includes embracing technology to speed up traffic flow. A meeting about these issues will be held in three weeks.

Construction could begin this fall and would be completed by the summer of 2025.
